I photographed this in an abandoned manor in the south of France. The roof had fallen in here, most of it crumbled to the floor, an indisputable witness of the inexorable passage of time. I loved the light coming in from above. This, with the blue walls and decor around the room, made me feel like I was underwater with the sun shimmering through. There were huge holes in the floor covered by the fallen debris from above so I had to be very careful not to fall through, it took me a while to walk the few steps from the door to my shooting spot.
